Reliance commenced Western Union Money Transfer on Thursday 20th September 2007, following its appointment as the 4th Western Union Direct Agent in The Gambia.
Western Union services will be available from all Reliance Branches on Kairaba Avenue and in Barra as well as in all Kiosks outfits. This initiative is in line with Reliance’s commitment towards financial deepening for the medium, small and micro enterprises and the general public at large. This is in addition to our savings and deposit products, business loans, foreign exchange and business development and advisory services to the un-banked, and in the process change lives.

Fast - Funds are available to the receiver from any WU outlet in the country within ten minutes of it being sent.
Convenience - No bank account is necessary which makes sending or receiving less cumbersome. However recipients can use all or some of the proceeds from Western Union remittances to open their accounts from any of our locations.
