On Friday 15th June, Reliance Financial Services in partnership with the Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the International Finance Corporation, launched the official start of the SME Growth program through Skills Development and Access to Finance.  The program which will run over a period of six months (June - November 2007) will train 250 Small and Medium size businesses.  The training modules offered by the program are Business Plan Preparation, Sales Marketing, Basic Bookkeeping and Access to Finance.  The program is offered on a cost sharing basis, with a participants paying 50% of the training costs.
